HHC-P vapes are no longer part of the Canapuff range. Regulation around this cannabinoid changed across several markets, so we removed it rather than keep a product that cannot ship reliably. If you came here looking for a vape, start with our current THCA vapes or browse the wider THC products selection for legal options in your region.

What is HHC-P?

HHC-P, short for hexahydrocannabiphorol, is a semi-synthetic cannabinoid. It is not extracted from the hemp plant directly in meaningful quantities. Instead, laboratories start from hemp-derived compounds such as CBD, convert them through several chemical steps, and produce a molecule with a longer carbon side chain than standard HHC. That extended side chain is the main structural difference from ordinary hexahydrocannabinol. Because the raw material comes from hemp but the final molecule is built in a lab, HHC-P sits in the same semi-synthetic category as many other novel cannabinoids that appeared in vape and liquid formats over the last few years.

HHC-P vs THC

The clearest way to separate HHC-P and THC is by origin and structure. THC, or delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, occurs naturally in cannabis and can be extracted from the plant directly. HHC-P is produced through hydrogenation and further synthesis, so it does not exist in nature in usable amounts. Structurally, HHC-P carries a saturated ring and a lengthened side chain, while THC has a double bond in its ring system. These differences matter to regulators, because many national laws are written around specific molecules or around how a substance is manufactured. That is one reason semi-synthetic cannabinoids are often treated differently from plant THC.

Is HHC-P legal?

HHC-P is restricted or banned in several European countries, and the legal position keeps changing. Some governments added it to controlled-substance lists, others regulate the whole class of semi-synthetic cannabinoids, and a few have not addressed it directly yet. Because the picture differs from one country to the next and updates arrive without much notice, we chose not to keep HHC-P in the catalogue. Always check the current rules that apply where you live before buying any cannabinoid.

Which legal alternative fits

The right replacement depends on the format and profile you want. If you prefer something non-intoxicating, our CBD flowers are the simplest starting point. For the option closest to HHC, look at 9H-HHC flowers. If you want a stronger natural cannabinoid, browse THCA, T9HC flowers, or THP420 flowers. Staying with a vape? Our THCA vapes are the direct format match.

Responsible purchase

Rules vary by country and by cannabinoid, so the same product is not available everywhere. All cannabinoid products we sell are intended for adults only. Check what is permitted in your own region before you order, and reach our customer-service team through the contact details in the site footer if you need help matching a legal option to your location.
